Smeasure.org.uk is a free to use buildings energy monitor for schools and businesses, which has been developed by the Environmental Change Institute at the University of Oxford as part of their ongoing research into a lower carbon future.
The online energy management tool requires uses to enter meter readings on a weekly basis. The energy data and data about the weather are used to test models on the effect of weather on heating systems, define when heating systems are out of control, update benchmarks for buildings, analyse distributions and averages of energy use and predict energy and carbon savings from best practice and proper energy management.
