Carbon Detectives Europe goes live

Carbon Detectives is a new three year project to encourage and inspire teachers and 8-14 years old pupils across 10 European countries to reduce the carbon footprint of their schools, whilst raising awareness of climate change and the importance of conserving energy.

The main project output is a simple to use website where schools can calculate their current carbon footprint and use tools and materials to improve their environmental performance, refine their footprint and shrink their shoe size.

The project enables schools to compare their carbon footprints with other European schools and share their efforts to reduce their CO2 emissions.
