CREATE assists Npower Renewables with its community benefits programme

The UK Energy Secretary, Ed Milliband, has recently opened Little Cheyne Court, the biggest onshore wind farm in the South of England (Kent) which will power 33,000 homes.

Little Cheyne Court, developed by Npower Renewables, has provided a number of benefits to the local community including 14k towards the cost of a solar PV scheme at St. Nicholas Church of England Primary School in New Romney. In addition, Npower Renewables invited CREATE to deliver a programme of sustainable energy activities to 22 local schools.
