A guide has been developed to help organisations plan their events with a minimum of environmental impacts.
CREATE is the first organisation outside the South West that is an acknowledged user of the Greener Events Guide. Throughout the series of Being Energy Smart conferences, which started well before the publication of this guide, we have endeavoured to make our events as green as possible by:
using city centre locations to encourage the use of public transport,
making speakers' presentations available on our web site rather that printing off pages of information for insertion in delegate packs'
sourcing local food where possible.
